• Joysticks are used to control wheelchairs and mobility scooters, and to operate and adjust operating tables and chairs.

• High-voltage resistors are found in defibrillators for voltage measurement, for voltage protection in devices that monitor patient parameters, such as ECGs, and in X-ray machines for voltage measurement.
