The Sternentraum children's hospice service supports families in the Rems-Murr district whose children suffer from a life-shortening illness. This support begins with the diagnosis and extends beyond death. Families with seriously ill parents also receive help. Grief groups for children, young people and adults make the way through these difficult times easier.
The hospice service currently looks after around 50 families. This commitment is supported by six permanent and 40 volunteer employees and is financed mainly through donations.
It was with great joy that our CEO Andreas Oberascher presented a donation of 4,000 euros to the foundation today. 2,500 euros of this was donated by our colleague Efthimia Buduroglou, who left us after a short, serious illness. It was her wish to support the children's hospice.
1,500 euros are being donated by Metallux AG. This also includes an amount collected by auctioning Christmas presents among our colleagues.
We are proud to be able to contribute to this valuable work together. Our thanks go to all those who made this donation possible and thereby gave hope and comfort to affected families.
